Bully Beat

Picture
“Wow! Such a brilliant day. Every single child participated, thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and boosted their confidence. We would love to do this every day.” Tracey Wakefield, Culverstone Green Primary Sch, Kent.

“Nathan & John have an amazing rapport with the children; very supportive and encouraging throughout the day. Every child had a memorable day. Many achieved beyond their own expectations!”
- Karen Julier, Tunstall Primary School, Kent.

Bully Beat

Designed to enthuse children about the process of lyric writing, singing, music arranging and contemporary production whilst promoting a serious anti-bullying message, Bully Beat is our most popular workshop experience for schools.

Children that take part in these workshops are not just taught how to sing and write a song together but they are also encouraged to express their thoughts on ‘bullying’ and its effects.

By listening to one another, respecting their friends and working together as a team the children create something that has an immediate and lasting impact on their peers, the school and the community.

Designed for a whole class, year group, small group, one-to-one (new for 2020!), we will bring your students' words and melodies to life, creating an original song, from top-to-bottom. The workshop and post production and mixing will be conducted in line with our Covid Protocol minimising our need to be onsite longer than is necessary. To read our Covid Protocol, click here.

Bully Beat’s key messages are:

Looking out for your peers, how to report worries, and keeping yourself safe.

The more we talk about bullying behaviour, the stronger the anti-bullying message becomes. And when you transform those messages into song, they are amplified.

Every workshop produces a song that every individual has contributed to. It is written, rehearsed and recorded on the day, uploaded and available to download free from iTunes.

Participants are also able to access some of the latest in music technology during workshops courtesy of our friends at KORG UK.
