The Songwriting Charity is now operating in the county as one of GHLLs  Partner Projects

Offering unique one-day workshops and wider performance programmes that seek to address the core themes of GHLL

Emotional Health and Wellbeing is enhanced through the creative process of songwriting from scratch with peers in a safe and fun environment

Songs are written based on one of 7 themes: Anti-bullying (Bully Beat), Peace (Master Peace), Environment (Funky Junk), Sport & Fitness (Sports Tracks), Transition (Key Change), Healthy eating (Soul Food), Festive Cheer (Celebration).

Schools in need of intervention across a broad range of themes linked to health and well-being can work with the Songwriting Charity to target the most vulnerable and most at risk, through bespoke workshops.

The work is strategically supported by the lead teachers at GHLL, ensuring the hardest to reach children in the most challenging areas of the county can benefit from the work.

The work is rigorously monitored by the Songwriting Charity and independently verified by Dr. Valerie Warburton of RPXP consulting, aligning outcomes to GHLL OPS data, ensuring the work is relevant and targeted.
