Yep, we're open as usual..... workshops are still planned it's just their method of delivery that has changed. The reason we've taken a while to execute this plan is simply down to making sure we can do this, and do it properly. The only unknown quantity that remains is bandwidth! Enthused and willing participants await, and we have the tech, experience and energy our end.
We're confident we can do this. When the Easter break is over we'll be back on the 'virtual' road, inspiring the next generation of songwriters, and most importantly providing accessible, fun, empowering and impactful experiences for all who take part, boosting confidence, self esteem and wellbeing through participation.
Whether you're a school with one pupil or 100 in attendance during lockdown, we're happy to roll up our sleeves and work with you. Email John or Nathan and provide as much info as you can on what you'd like us to do and how many pupils are currently attending your school and we'll come back to you with a plan.
First of all, we must start by saying none of these fundraising events would have been possible without the support and hard work of Cheryl Hicks, founder of events business Call Bruce Limited, Jamie Baulch, Founder of BIDAID silent auction specialists, and Nathan Timothy CEO of the Songwriting Charity. A room full of eager quizzers from the world of music and broadcasting, ensured our latest pop quiz was fun and buzzing for all who attended. Three quizzes in, and close to £23,000 has been raised for the Songwriting Charity. Considering we've never held these kinds of events before, we're excited about the possibilities and look forward to our next event.
