Assisting their projects by providing digital music tools in aid of their mission to better the emotional health and wellbeing of communities through the creative, empowering and cathartic medium of songwriting. Co-founders Nathan Timothy and John Quinn said “The Songwriting Charity is delighted to be partnering with the team at Trackd. We love the community spirit of the company born out of its rich history within the music industry. Using the Trackd app offers all those we support and work with an exciting opportunity to continue writing, collaborating, recording, and producing songs following our one-day songwriting workshops. We’re grateful to the Trackd team for their support, particularly at a time when the emotional health and well-being of young people and communities continues to be adversely affected by the pandemic and lockdown.” Grant Tilbury A&R at Trackd Music says of the new partnership, “we are excited to be partnering with The Songwriting Charity and we are keen to start working on campaigns with Nathan and the team to get the word out there about the brilliant initiatives the charity are delivering. Everything from the anti-bullying ‘Bully Beat’ to the work they are doing with choirs addressing Alzheimer's disease are initiatives we want to align with.” In order to celebrate the upcoming ‘Make Music Day’, taking place worldwide on the 21st of June, The Songwriting Charity and Trackd are running a joint digital campaign. Trackd is challenging its global users and people around the world to get creative by posting song ideas around the theme of #EveryDayHeroes. The aim; to celebrate and acknowledge people who help and support the community, those who deserve recognition. Trackd will be sharing all entries in the app and across social media.
